As we light our candles in memory of Dr. King, one who has blazed this trail of unity, we do so with gratitude for his life and how that life has impacted the lives of all of us who yet live. Mr. Alexander Alston-Mark will be the featured speaker for this event.

Students, their families and community members join to celebrate the student winners of the MLK creative writing, oratorical and creative arts contests. Our featured host this year will be Miss Black Teen Arizona 2009, Rozen Latham. The guest speaker is Ms. Asha Woods.

Special guest will be Colonel Richard Toliver, USAF, Retired. (Publication Announcement & Press Release regarding his book.)

Doors open at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast service begins at 6:45 a.m. Program begins promptly at 7:00 a.m. Cost of breakfast is $40. Deadline to purchase tickets through PayPal has been extended to January 14. Tickets will be sold at the door on January 18, as long as seats are available.
